Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Rognix. By creating an account or installing the Rognix collector, you agree to them. If you're accepting on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to do so.
The service
Rognix provides an infrastructure intelligence platform. We collect resource metrics from servers you connect, generate insights, and optionally execute permitted actions. Specific features and limits depend on your plan as described on /pricing.
Your account
- You're responsible for the security of your credentials and the actions taken from your account.
- You agree not to share login credentials. Each human using Rognix needs their own account.
- You must be at least 16 years old. Accounts in the EU may have higher minimum age based on local law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Rognix to monitor infrastructure you don't have authorization to monitor.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or attack the platform beyond legitimate use of your account.
- Use Rognix to violate law, infringe rights, or send unsolicited communications via integrations.
- Resell or sublicense the service without our written consent.
Billing
- Paid plans bill in advance, monthly or annually. Card on file is charged automatically by Stripe.
- Annual plans aren't refundable on a pro-rata basis. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time and stop billing at the end of the current period.
- Usage above plan caps is metered (where applicable per your plan) and added to the next invoice. We send a notification at 80% of any limit before it's enforced.
- Failed payments trigger a 7-day grace period of email reminders before the account moves to a read-only state. Your data is retained for 60 days during which you can re-activate.
Your data
You retain ownership of all data you submit to or generate through Rognix. We license a limited right to process it solely to provide the service. We never use your data to train models or sell to third parties. Details in the Privacy Policy.
Service availability
Free, Starter, and Team tiers are provided as-is with best-effort uptime. Business and Enterprise tiers include explicit SLAs (99.9% and up to 99.99%) with service credits as the sole remedy for breaches.
Termination
Either party can terminate at any time. On termination we delete account data and metric history within 30 days, except where retention is legally required (limited financial records up to 7 years).
Disclaimer & liability
Rognix is provided on an "as-is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $100 if no fees were paid. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or anything else that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Rognix Labs is incorporated. Disputes are resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
Changes
Material changes are communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
